It can only be visited on a guided tour, from late March to early October, reaching the island by boat from the harbours nearby (San Felice, Manerba, Garda, Sirmione and others). The visit, about two hours, must be booked ahead: places on the boats are limited.

How do you get to Isola del Garda?
Only by boat, on the organised excursions that leave from various harbours around the lake. There are no scheduled ferries and no way to land independently.
Do you need to book?
Yes, always: visits are guided, timed and with limited places on the boats. In high season it's worth booking several days ahead.
