Rocca di Manerba del Garda
Updated Saturday, September 5
A rocky headland dropping straight into the lake above Manerba del Garda, with the remains of a medieval fortress, an archaeological area and a nature reserve. From the top the view takes in the lower lake and the island of San Biagio.

The Rocca area is always accessible on foot along the trails; the small civic archaeological museum at the foot of the headland has its own hours. Park nearby and climb in about twenty minutes. At the foot of the Rocca, the beach and the sandbar that at low water connects the island of San Biagio.

Common questions
Can you visit the Rocca di Manerba for free?
Yes, the trails and the viewpoint are freely accessible. The archaeological museum at the foot of the headland charges admission.
What is the Isola dei Conigli?
It's the island of San Biagio, in front of the Rocca: when the lake level is low you can walk to it on a sandbar, otherwise it's a short boat ride from the nearby lidos.
