Terme di Sirmione
Sirmione's sulphurous thermal water rises from a spring beneath the lake. It is used in two facilities: Aquaria, the wellness centre with lakeside thermal pools, saunas and treatments, and the medical wing for therapies and inhalation. Aquaria is designed for a relaxing day.

Aquaria is open all year, with extended hours at weekends. In high season and at weekends a timed booking is effectively required. It is inside Sirmione's limited-traffic zone: it is best to leave the car in the car parks at the entrance to the peninsula.

Common questions
Are the Sirmione thermal baths indoors or outdoors?
Aquaria has thermal pools both outdoors, overlooking the lake, and indoor areas with saunas and treatments: it's used all year round.
Do you need to book?
On weekends and in high season, a booked time slot is practically necessary to be sure of getting in.
What's the difference with the medical department?
Aquaria is the wellness centre for a relaxing day out; the therapy and inhalation department is a separate, more medical service.
