Things to do in Torbole
Torbole sits on the lake's northeastern shore, at the foot of Monte Baldo, and is known worldwide for its steady winds, which have made it one of the top destinations for sailing and windsurfing: the Circolo Vela Torbole, founded in 1964, and the Circolo Surf Torbole have hosted three world championships. Goethe also stayed here in 1786, struck by the scenery.
