The old Napoleonic road cut into the rock above Riva del Garda, now a walking and cycling route hanging over the water, with tunnels and natural balconies. One of the most spectacular views in the Alto Garda.

The path starts from the centre of Riva del Garda, just past the Sabbioni beach, and is accessible all year and free of charge. Walk it or cycle it (e-bike rental in Riva too); the first two kilometres, the most scenic, are enough to get the idea. On some stretches the road is also open to residents' cars.

The first stretch, wide and with railings, yes, even with a sturdy pushchair. Further on the path becomes gravel and more exposed: judge by age.

Yes, it's one of the most famous cycle routes on Lake Garda. There are several bike and e-bike rentals in Riva del Garda.
