Events in Dro – Lake Garda
Dro stands in the Sarca valley, a few kilometres north of Arco, on the edge of the Marocche, the largest glacial landslide in the Alps, with boulders up to 250 metres high. The mild microclimate, helped by the lake's proximity, allows olive growing at its northernmost limit, along with prunes for drying.
The Drodesera Festival is the town's main cultural event; the weekly market is held on Thursdays.
