Events in Limone – Lake Garda

Limone owes its name and fame to the 19th-century lemon houses that still shape its historic centre, the northernmost citrus-growing tradition in the world. Narrow lanes, panoramic trails and the Garda cycle path, which juts out over the water in places, offer ever-changing views of the lake.

The Limonaia del Castèl is open to visit year-round, with evening openings in summer; on Ferragosto (15 August) the "Yellow Night" livens up the lakefront with fireworks. Low season (April-May, September-October) remains the recommended time; the weekly market is held on Tuesdays.
