Events in Toscolano – Lake Garda

Toscolano Maderno was formed by the union of two lakeside villages. In the Valle delle Cartiere stands the paper museum, tracing a papermaking tradition active since the 15th century; the remains of a Roman villa tell an even older story. The Lido Azzurro beach, in the hamlet of Maderno, is one of the busiest in the area.

In summer the historic centre hosts concerts and evening markets; the weekly market is held on Mondays. Late spring and early autumn remain the best seasons to take in both the museum and the valley's trails.
