Events in Riva – Lake Garda

Riva del Garda sits at the lake's northern tip, in Trentino, where the funnel-like shape between the mountains generates the "Ora del Garda", one of the most dependable thermal winds in Europe, making the area one of the world's best-known destinations for sailing and windsurfing. The historic centre gathers around Piazza Tre Novembre, dominated by the Torre Apponale.

Every summer the centre hosts the "Notte di Fiaba" (Fairytale Night), a family-friendly themed evening; the mountains also offer a dense network of hiking trails. The mildest period to visit runs from April to October; July and August remain the busiest months.
