Thermal spas on Lake Garda
Lake Garda has three very different thermal spas. Aquaria in Sirmione is the wellness centre with thermal pools overlooking the lake. The Villa dei Cedri thermal park in Lazise is a large open-air park with warm-water pools. QC Termegarda is a more intimate resort inside an inland Renaissance palace.
All three are open through the cold months, when warm water is at its best. At weekends, book a time slot.
Aquaria, Sirmione. Outdoor thermal pools on the lake, indoor areas with saunas and treatments. Open all year.
Villa dei Cedri, Lazise. Two natural pools between 33 and 37 °C in ten hectares of parkland. Swim outdoors all year.
QC Termegarda, Calvagese. Thermal resort opened in late 2022, with indoor and outdoor pools. Reachable by car only.
When to go. Winter is best: warm water, cold air and no heat to manage.
